PA Auditor General to Join Jones at Upcoming District Event

ELIZABETHTOWN – Pennsylvania Auditor General Tim Defoor will join Rep. Tom Jones (R-Lancaster/Lebanon) at his monthly Coffee and Conversation event in Elizabethtown.

“I have long shared Defoor’s vision and aim of protecting taxpayer dollars from being misspent. Since taking office, he has done a great job serving as the fiscal watchdog of public resources,” Jones said. “I am grateful he is taking the time to visit the district and share his work with residents.”

The next Coffee and Conversation is on Thursday, Nov. 13, from 9-10 a.m. at Jones’ district office, 222 S. Market St. in Elizabethtown. DeFoor’s visit is part of his “Be Audit $mart” tour, during which he will discuss what his office does and who he is and is capped off with a question-and-answer session.

“I’m excited to highlight the important work we do to make sure taxpayer dollars are being spent appropriately,” DeFoor said. “I appreciate Rep. Jones and his team for all the time and effort they have put into making this event happen, and I encourage everyone to attend.”
