Jones Invites Residents to 50 & Up Expo

ELIZABETHTOWN – Rep. Tom Jones (R-Lancaster/Lebanon) invites residents to his fun-filled 50 & Up Expo this month in Mount Joy.

“The annual 50 & Up Expo is one of my favorite events of the year, and I am thankful for the chance to host it again for residents,” Jones said. “The event is a great resource for residents to gather helpful information about programs and services in our community.”

The event will be held at Hope Community Church, 1806 Harrisburg Ave., Mount Joy, on Tuesday, Sept. 9, from 9-11 a.m. 
The 50 & Up Expo is free to attend. Parking is located in the lot behind the church and attendees should enter from the back of the building, following the posted signs. Ramp access is provided for easy entry.

Attendees of the 50 & Up Expo will receive a wealth of information about state-related services, senior and health-related programs, and resources from area providers.  It is open to anyone who wants resources for themselves or for family members. Whether you're looking for health care resources, home services or community engagement activities, there’s something for everyone.

The event is just one of many Jones has planned, including his popular Coffee and Conversation. The free events are held from 9-10 a.m. on the second Thursday of the month at his district office. The next Coffee and Conversation will be held Thursday, Sept. 11, followed by events on Oct. 9, Nov. 13 and Dec. 11. At each Coffee and Conversation his office will have an interesting topic or special guest with plenty of opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
