ELIZABETHTOWN – In an effort to make legislative services easier to access for Lebanon County residents in the 98th Legislative District, state Rep. Tom Jones is holding office hours in two Lebanon County municipalities.
Rep. Jones and his staff will be available by appointment on Thursday afternoons at the South Londonderry Township building and the South Annville Township building. Constituents who wish to meet in either of these locations for help with state-government related needs or to meet with Rep. Jones should call 717-367-5525 to set an appointment.
“My legislative office staff is busy helping constituents from all over our district,” Jones said. “We’re making special availability in two Lebanon County locations to make it easier for constituents in the northern part of the district to get the help they need.”
The South Annville Township building is located at 1042 Horseshoe Pike Lebanon. The South Londonderry Township building is located at 27 W. Market Street Palmyra.
Jones and his staff can help with state government-related needs including:
· Birth/Death certificate applications.
· Issues and problems with Pennsylvania insurance programs: Medical Assistance, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP).
· Assistance with the preparation of Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms.
· Issues or questions about utilities and Public Utility Commission.
· Information on financial assistance for higher education.
· Fishing and hunting information.
· PennDOT forms for special tags and driver and vehicle services.
· Pennsylvania personal income tax forms.
· Requests for copies of legislation, bills, and regulations.
· Requests for literature for students and senior citizens.
· Citations from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for notable local accomplishments and family milestones.
· Tours of the State Capitol for individuals or groups.
· Unemployment Compensation issues.
